Pediatric Therapy
Guiding Children to a Healthier Future We believe in the power of early intervention. Our pediatric Myofunctional Therapy services are designed to address and correct issues such as mouth breathing, improper tongue posture, and swallowing disorders. By promoting proper craniofacial growth and development, we help prevent long-term health issues and set your child on a path to lifelong wellness.
Adult Therapy
Relief from Chronic Pain and Discomfort Many adults suffer from undiagnosed myofunctional impairments that lead to chronic pain and health issues. Our adult therapy services focus on alleviating symptoms such as jaw pain, neck tension, headaches, and digestive problems. Through tailored treatment plans, we help you achieve lasting relief and improved quality of life.
Pre/Post Surgery
Optimizing Outcomes for Surgical Interventions For those undergoing surgical procedures such as tongue-tie release (frenectomy), jaw surgery, or orthodontic treatments, our Myofunctional Therapy offers crucial pre-and post-surgical support. We work closely with your surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes, promoting faster recovery and long-term success.
Airway & Sleep
Breathe Better, Sleep Better Airway health is critical for overall well-being. Our services include comprehensive assessment and management of airway restrictions and sleep apnea. By addressing these issues, we help improve sleep quality, reduce related health risks, and enhance your overall health.
STEP 2
Comprehensive evaluation
A comprehensive evaluation entails a full evaluation of oral musculature posture and function and their correlation with current health concerns. Several protocols and functional tests are used to identify the presence and the severity of a tongue-tie and determine if a frenectomy consult is warranted. Referrals to other health professionals for the body work, assessment of allergies, and sleep are also made based on results of the assessment.
STEP 3
Individualized treatment plan
Each client receives a thorough written assessment of myofunctional impairments. A treatment plan is carefully chosen to meet each person’s individual needs. The treatment consists of daily oral exercises taking about 5-10 minutes and can often be done while doing other daily tasks. Exercises are taught and demonstrated in detail during our sessions.
